19/10/07 THE RESTARTS The Restarts first crawled out of the North London Squat scene well over a decade ago. Serial dole scroungers the lot of them, they named their band after the dreaded 'back to work' interviews and set about touting their stroppy four-chord punk to spiky-haired audiences around the world. They've slowly but surely clawed their way to the top of the underground pile. I.C.H. I.C.H. are fast becoming local punk legends! Formed back in the late 70's the band played authentic 50's style rockabilly and by the mid 80's they had set the local scene on fire and become regulars at London's infamous Klubfoot, playing with Restless, Guana Batz and Demented are Go amongst others. If you're a fan of rockabilly, psychobilly, or just love great music, come down and rock with the Wigsville Spliffs! When the sun goes down this Halloween there's only one place to head to for some graveyard stomping DJs playing the best in psychobilly, rockabilly and punk rock'n'roll and three of the finest and most energetic rockin' bands in the business.... GO GO CULT come to town for the very first time with their surf, garage, punk sound (featuring Bill Fadden!). These recent signings to Western Star are heavily influenced by The Cramps, Link Wray, GG Allin and The Sonics. LUNA VEGAS come to howl in the Moon rather than at it! Another Western Star artist, they have made quite an impact with their frantic live shows and excellent debut cd. (I fuckin' love this band --Ed) Tonight's headliners, SHAKEOUT are without a doubt the finest Psycho rockin' outfit in East Anglia, a title they truly deserve following a lengthy career that has seen them share the stage with bands including The Meteors, Guana Batz and King Kurt.

NEW TOWN KINGS Back by popular demand this 9 piece bring their infectious and energetic brand of 2Tone, ska, reggae and dub back for a triumphant return to the Man on the Moon. RESOLUTION 242 Their debut CD out on Do the Dog Records has had some great reviews and secured them airplay on Radio One's "The Lock Up". Resolution 242 have shared the stage with the likes of Inner Terrestrials, King Blues and Sonic Boom Six and played the prestigious Rebellion Festival in 2009. CAPTAIN BLACK NO STARS This Norfolk reggae collective have come a long way in short time, gaining fans across the region with their unique sound inspired by both the Trojan / 2Tone sounds and UK Punk rock.
19/12/09 LAST GANG IN TOWN STRUMMERVILLE BENEFIT & LAST GANG'S 6^th BIRTHDAY GIG Strummerville, the Joe Strummer Foundation for new music, is one of the most inspiring things to happen in music and we are very proud to lend our support to this worthy cause. Tonight's headline band The Yalla Yallas stands as a testament to this, their debut release having been funded by Strummerville. THE YALLA YALLAS are a fantastic punk rock 'n' roll band from Leeds. Their name was carefully and deliberately chosen as a rallying call to unify. THE TAGNUTS Cambridge "Gimp-Core" ska punkers are back! After almost a year away The Tagnuts are ready to do it again. Good to have you back!! THE TEN-O-SEVENS are real punk rock 'n' roll! These four lads combine elements of early punk rock with the sound and attitude of the most obnoxious of garage punk bands. THE DEAD BATTERIES return to the Moon as part of their winter tour with local legends the Tagnuts.

RANDOM HAND Bring their hectic and eclectic brass infused ska/punk mayhem back to the Man on the Moon after exploding across the nation in 2009, playing the prestigious Rebellion Festival and the Leeds Carling Festival and even touring with the Voodoo Glow Skulls. THE SKINTS Impressive punk/reggae 4 piece from East London with multi-instrumentalist Marcia Richards (vocals, keys, sax, melodica, flute) taking the forefront. MOUTHWASH South London ska punk band who have been around since 1996 and played with everyone from Rancid to Sonic Boom Six and have releases out on Hellcat Records and Rebel Alliance. CHRIS MURRAY & FRIENDS LA's Chris Murray has travelled a path taking him to the heart of reggae music. He's jammed with the Specials, played harmonica for Prince Buster and tours the world with his solo reggae acoustic show.
